In India, the Sages (Rishis), whose intuitive knowledge on Nature formed the secrets to life philosophy. It offers natural path to health and to restore a perfect balance between mind, body and soul for over 5000 years. It was devised and contained in one of the world’s oldest systems, named Ayurveda, which means “Science of Life”.

Ayurveda stems from the ancient vedic culture and is often known as the “Mother of All Healing”. According to Ayurvedic philosophy, the entire cosmos is an interplay of the Panchamahabhutas (5 great elements) – Earth(prithvi), Water(jala), Fire(tejas),Air (vayu) and Ether(akasha).

These elements interact with one another, producing energies or forces of nature known as the three Doshas, Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.

Vata Dosha = Space + Air

Pitta Dosha = Fire + Water

Kapha Dosha = Water + Earth

These Doshas manifest in every area of our mind and body, including our physical build, digestive tendencies, mental disposition, skin and hair qualities. While we typically show dominance in one or two Doshas, all three exist within us, offering endless combinations and proportions of these natural energies. A perfect balance between the Doshas is essential for overall well-being.
